The gauge faceplate has been colored
to show the various acceptable tow tension ranges.
It's got a couple of magnets epoxied into the plastic base. Note the purple
line for pulling
the release. It's an excellent idea but in the 6 years this system has been
in operation, it has
(thankfully) not been needed a single time.
